A weak front stretched across Central Florida was the focus for some widely scattered showers and a couple decent downpours Tuesday.

This front also separated highs in the 60s from Ocala to Palm Coast to the 80s elsewhere. We’re keeping atmospheric moisture in place either side of the front, so expect patchy areas of dense fog overnight.

As the front dissipates Wednesday, we’ll throw in an isolated shower chance at under 20 percent, but this will not impact your Valentine’s Day plans. Highs on Wednesday are back into the upper 70s and lower 80s.

High pressure builds across the region Thursday into early next week with rain-free, muggy conditions and well above average highs in the 80s.

There is a slight difference in the weekend model runs, with one providing us a slight rain chance Sunday. Right now, we’ll keep the forecast dry.

Fair surfing conditions are with us all of Wednesday, with an east-southeast swell and a northeast swell mix combing with wave heights of three to four feet to create some decent sets.

Sea surface temps are responding to our recent warmth, with low 60s in the water along the Flagler and Volusia County coast and right around 70 along the Brevard County coast.
