After 90 years in show business, Minnie Mouse has been awarded her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The famous mouse was honored during a ceremony Monday at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. Disney CEO Bob Iger and pop star Katy Perry were both on hand to help Minnie celebrate.

Minnie first appeared in the 1928 animated short film “Steamboat Willie” alongside Mickey Mouse.

Her star comes 40 years after Mickey received a star in 1978 for the film’s 50th anniversary.

Minnie joins other Disney characters who already have stars on the iconic Hollywood landmark, including Donald Duck, Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Kermit the Frog and Tinker Bell.

Over the weekend, Disney held a sendoff for Minnie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando.
