Allison came to Bay News 9 in 2007. After sitting behind the weekend anchor desk at Bay News 9, Allison is now taking on a high-profile assignment as full-time reporter/field anchor for Bay News 9, and she's a News 13 contributor.

As the entertainment specialist, Allison interviews some of the biggest celebrities in music, TV and movies. Some of her most notable interviewees were John Travolta, Dustin Hoffman, Jennifer Aniston, John Stamos, Michael Douglas, Goldie Hawn, George Hamilton and Woody Harrelson, among countless others.

She covers everything from the business of entertainment to the entertainers themselves and reports on news and events connected to the entertainment industry. She produces and reports “Theme Park Wars” segments, making sure viewers are the first to know about breaking events at Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando. Her backstage access allows for content not lifted from news releases.

Viewers can also watch Allison during her entertainment features, "On the Town” and “Chef’s Kitchen.”

Allison's broadcasting career gave her the opportunity to connect the dots across America. Allison graduated from Georgia Tech in Atlanta with a bachelor's degree in science, technology and culture. Her professional career began in the Southeast at CNN in Atlanta, first as a reporter for CNN Student News and then as an associate producer on the military desk when the Iraq War broke out.

She then moved out West to KLBC in Laughlin, Nevada, where she not only co-anchored the 5 p.m. news but was also the leading political reporter, drilling both the Nevada and Arizona legislators. Allison then moved to Elmira, New York, to anchor and produce the weekend 6 and 11 p.m. broadcasts at WETM 18 News. Soon, she was promoted to anchor and producer of WETM 18 News at Noon. Allison also embraced her position as the station's only health reporter and contributed general assignment reports daily.

She is approaching 10 years with Bay News 9.

Allison grew up on New Hampshire's seacoast with her parents and big brother (and "lobsta" to die for!).
