(AP) — Ten days after Hurricane Michael hit the Florida Panhandle, teenagers who make up the Mosley High Dolphins football team returned to the field in downtown Panama City, providing a little normalcy after a storm that has forever altered their lives. An estimated crowd of 1,500 gathered at Tommy Oliver Stadium to watch the Dolphins take on the Pensacola Tigers. The fans enjoyed free admission, free food and the chance to escape the relentless stress that was left in Michael's wake.

ELKO, Nevada (AP) — President Donald Trump says he will pull the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Russia. Trump says Moscow has violated the agreement; Russia has said the United States is in violation. Neither country has provided details. The 1987 pact helps protect the security of the U.S. and its European and Far East allies. It prohibits the United States and Russia from possessing, producing or test-flying a ground-launched cruise missile with a range of 300 to 3,400 miles.

ISTANBUL (AP) — Germany's foreign minister is calling into question the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia, after the kingdom acknowledged that writer Jamal Khashoggi was killed in its Istanbul consulate.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Californians have been fleeing to Nevada in droves in search of more affordable housing, contributing to Republican fears that they will bring more of the state's liberal politics with them. GOP candidates are trying to appeal to conservative voters by warning that electing more Democrats could lead to California policies such as sanctuary cities and heavy business regulations. This year alone, Californians will account for four of every 10 new residents in Nevada.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Sales are brisk as the jackpot for the Mega Millions lottery rolls toward a record $1.6 billion. As more tickets sell, chances grow that at least one buyer will pick all six winning numbers and end a streak of 25 rollovers, most recently on Friday night. It would surpass a $1.586 billion Powerball drawing on Jan. 13, 2016.
