ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new nighttime show is now showing at Universal Studios Florida.

  • Universal Orlando debuts new nighttime lagoon show
  • Cinematic Celebration features water screens and pyrotechnics
  • Scenes from 'Harry Potter' and 'Jurassic World' shown

Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration debuted Monday night.

The 20-minute lagoon show is packed with special effects, including dancing water fountains, projection mapping, pyrotechnics and larger-than-life water screens.

Cinematic Celebration is divided into segments, each highlighting characters from Universal's attractions or films.

The scenes are projected onto the water screens, which grow or change color throughout the show.

For the young at heart, there are segments dedicated to "Trolls," "Kung Fu Panda," "Despicable Me" and "How to Train Your Dragon." For those feeling a bit nostalgic, there are moments from "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial."

Other segments include adrenaline-pumping moments from "Fast & Furious" and "Transformers."

And, for the first time, Harry Potter ventures out of The Wizarding World with his own magical segment in the show. Look for an awe-inspiring moment involving "expecto patronum."

Cinematic Celebration also makes use of the buildings in along the New York and San Francisco streets.

A designated viewing area has been created in the Central Park area. It can accommodate up to 6,500 people.

Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration runs select nights this summer.
