TAMPA, Fla. -- MegaCon, the large convention for all things geek, kicks off in Tampa this weekend.

The Tampa Convention Center will welcome superheroes, anime characters, and everything in between.

Thousands of people are expected at this year's event, with organizers estimating 30,000 attendees.

Dozens of celebrity guests are set to appear, including "Harry Potter" stars James and Oliver Phelps, "The Walking Dead" star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as well various comic book artists and voice actors.

In addition to the celebrities, the event will feature a "Harry Potter" escape room, Q&A panels and merchandise.

For Orlando-area attendees, MegaCon is offering a motor coach that will take you straight to the Tampa Convention Center. Roundtrip bus rides for Saturday are $20. Roundtrip rides plus admission tickets are $49 on Saturday and $39 on Sunday.
