ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney World will once again offer special after-hours events for annual passholders.

  • V.I.Passholder Nights returning to Disney World
  • Select passholders get access to the parks after hours
  • Attractions, shops and dining locations remain open

The aptly-titled V.I.Passholder Nights was first introduced last year. On specific nights, passholders were able to spend a couple extra hours in one of the theme parks after closing. Select attractions, shops and dining locations remained open during the event.

The first time around, the event was offered only at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. No details have been released about which parks will be included this year.

Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier passholders are the only ones eligible for the extra perk. However, advance registration is required.

A post from Disney says "email invitations will be sent soon."

So keep a close eye on your inbox for dates and registration details.

V.I.Passholder Nights is just one of several exclusive experiences Disney has offered through its V.I.Passholder program. Other perks have included merchandise pop-up events and discounts.

UPDATE: V.I.Passholder Nights will be held on the following days:

  • Magic Kingdom - Tuesday, February 26, 10 p.m.-12 a.m.
  • Epcot - Thursday, March 21, 9 p.m.-11 p.m.
