ORLANDO, Fla. -- SeaWorld Orlando has welcomed two beluga whales to its Wild Arctic exhibit.

• Grayson and Oliver arrived on Saturday
• The 11-year-old whales came from other facilities

The 11-year-old whales named Grayson and Oliver arrived on Saturday, according to a blog post.

Grayson comes from the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, while Oliver is a transfer from SeaWorld San Antonio.

Belugas are typically found in waters near Alaska, Canada, Norway and Greenland, according to SeaWorld. There are about 150,000 beluga whales remaining in the wild, according to estimates from researchers. 

Belugas can live from 35 to 50 years, according to the National Marine Mammal Laboratory.

According to SeaWorld, belugas faces many threats in the wild, including "increased pollution in their environments, contaminated and diminished food supply, and rising ocean temperatures."

Fewer than 30 belugas are currently in accredited facilities, which specialize in sustaining the population. 

SeaWorld's Wild Arctic exhibit also includes walruses and harbor seals.
