WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida is offering a special ticket discount for Autism Awareness Month.

For a limited time, the Winter Haven theme park is offering one-day tickets for $42.50. Usually a one-day ticket costs $85 online and about $100 at the gate.

Legoland is also offering a discount on two-park tickets, which include the theme park and the water park. The tickets, which are typically priced around $110 online, cost $65.50 during the promotion.

The deal is all in support of a good cause. For every ticket sold during the promotion, Legoland will donate $10 to the North and Central Florida chapters of Autism Speaks.

Tickets can be purchased through April 30 and must be used by May 31.

In recent years, Legoland Florida launched initiatives to make its parks more autism-friendly. The theme park has added quiet rooms for families in need of a break. It has also provided new staff members specialized training to help them interact with guests on the autism spectrum.

Legoland Florida also has a "Blue Hero Pass" for kids with autism who have difficulty waiting in line.
