ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld is giving passholders extra perks they can enjoy when the parks reopen.

  • SeaWorld will also allow passholders to defer payments 

The company announced Monday it is automatically upgrading active passes by one tier for the remainder of the year. The upgrade is available to all active SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay passholders who are current with their payments. For example, Silver passholders will be upgraded to Gold and Gold will be upgraded to Platinum. SeaWorld said several exclusive benefits will be offered to Platinum passholders.

In addition to the tier upgrade, passholders will also get additional bring-a-friend days.

SeaWorld is also offering passholders who may be dealing with financial hardships to defer monthly payments. But passholder who defer payments are not eligible for the additional perks.

SeaWorld's parks have been closed since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The company previously said it will extend annual passholder for the length the parks are closed.
