ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld Orlando will hold a modified version of its popular Electric Ocean event, the theme park announced Tuesday.

​The event, called Electric Ocean Remix, will take place every Friday and Saturday from July 24 to September 6. It will feature a firework and pyrotechnic show called Light Up the Sky, a DJ, dancers and “high energy atmosphere acts.”

“Safety is a top priority for our park team, and we’ve worked hard to modify elements of Electric Ocean while keeping all of the energy and excitement that our guests have come to love with the launch of Electric Ocean Remix,” park president Kyle Miller said in a news release.

SeaWorld will have designated areas for guests to enjoy the entertainment while also maintaining social-distancing.

The Taste of Seven Seas, a modified version of SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival, will also take place on the weekends.

SeaWorld, as part of its new health and safety measures, is requiring all visitors to make a reservation in advance to visit the park. Visitors are also required to wear face masks and undergo temperature checks.
