WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — If you love theme parks and you love craft beer, be sure you're sitting down before you read the next line.

Locally brewed craft beer is coming to Legoland Florida.

For the first time since the park opened in October 2011, the theme park will begin serving craft beer at its newest quick-serve restaurant starting Sept. 24, according to a post on the park's blog.

Grove Roots Brewing Co. in Winter Haven will provide the beer. Guests can enjoy the beer, along with a smoked turkey leg or a mini corndog, at Dragon's Den, located outside "The Dragon" in the LEGO Kingdoms area of the park.

Dragon's Den will feature multiple taps serving a rotating selection of seasonal and special-release beers from the brewery, the first and only craft beer brewery in Winter Haven.

The park will hold an after-hours private event Sept. 24 for guests to sample the new food and beer pairings at Dragon's Den. Spots for the event are limited — to sign up, visit the event's web page.
