TAMPA, Fla. — You may have traveled the world and you may have seen the most famous of places, but have you ever spent an entire day capturing the moments surrounding them on film?

One photographer found a way to capture all those moments from day to night in a single image, and his work is coming to Tampa.

"Day to Night," the next exhibit at the Florida Museum of Photographic Art (FMoPA), spotlights the work of Stephen Wilkes. Wilkes takes thousands of pictures over the course of an entire day and combines them digitally, creating a tableau of time with these singular moments.

Executive Director Zora Carrier says they specifically chose world landmarks like the Eiffel Tower for the exhibit to take people on a little journey.

“Because the images are so big you can almost step into them,” said Carrier, “experience the atmosphere, experience the weather, experience the visitors of these places.”

You can visit these photographs at FMoPA through December 31. For a full preview of the exhibit, watch the video above.
