TAMPA, Fla. — Break out the mini-skirt and the go-go boots! "SHOUT! The Mod Musical" opens with all the groovy 60's style you can handle at the Straz Center on Wednesday, February 25.

Here’s five things to know about the show:

  1. It’s a jukebox musical featuring well-known songs such as "These Boots are Made for Walkin'", "Son of a Preacher Man", and "I Only Want to Be With You"
  2. Two songs originally recorded by Shirley Bassey for the soundtracks to James Bond films also feature in the show — "Goldfinger" and "Diamonds Are Forever"
  3. The show's story follows five girls who come of age in London during the 60's and 70's 
  4. As the show moves through time and the lives of its characters, it showcases and celebrates how attitudes about gender continue to evolve
