PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — The staff at Starkey Blueberry Farm in Pasco County say picking blueberries is a great way to get some fresh air while also practicing social distancing.

Here’s 5 things to know about their U-pick experience:

  1. There are eight different types of blueberries spread out over 45 acres, so it’s easy to keep your distance from others.
  2. There is a new foot-activated hand washing station for everyone to wash their hands before heading out into the field.
  3. You’re able to take your berries home to create fun recipes!
  4. Starkey Blueberry Farm is open Monday - Saturday from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  5. Keep and eye on their Facebook page for any changes due to weather conditions.
