RALEIGH, N.C. -- A local tattoo artist is becoming a viral sensation from an act of kindness that helped make a young boy's day.

• This was the first time he had ever painted a leg

An Instagram video shows the tattoo artist, Milton Purnell, from Tattoo Supreme surprising a young boy with a Black Panther themed prosthetic leg.

The boy and his mom came up with the idea and Purnell says the piece took more than a week to do.

This was the first time he had ever painted a leg, describing it almost like painting a motorcycle, but he says he will offer to paint the boy's next prosthetic leg once he grows out of this one.

"It just took me and I was like 'man, I really have to work on this and make it top notch for him." said Purnell
