A crash involving a vehicle and school bus in Gibsonton has left at least one person dead.
Elie Saintil, 64, drove into the path of an oncoming school bus at the intersection of Symmes Road and North Street at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, deputies said.
Saintill died at the scene. The passenger in the car, Mikel Robin, 33, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with injuries that are described as not life-threatening.
There were no students in the bus and the driver was not injured.
