An undercover prostitution sting resulted in the arrest of five area men, including a local firefighter.

According to the Bradenton Police Department, five men ranging in age from 31 to 54 were taken into custody near the 2300 block of 13th Avenue West Thursday evening.

Officers said the were arrested after agreeing to pay an undercover officer for sex.

The men taken into custody were Fabian Marin-Santos, 31; Julian Casimino, 35; Julio Masias, 54; Moises Gutierrez , 48; Luis Perez-Ibarra, 33. Officials said Masias is a firefighter with the North River Fire District.

Each of the men faces a misdemeanor charge of solicitation of prostitution.

Perez-Ibarra is being held without bond because he was also holding fraudulent immigration documents, according to officials.
