Deputies say a Turkey Creek Middle teacher had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student.
Megan Connors, 30, of Brandon, is facing charges of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious battery and lewd conduct.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Connors established a relationship with the teenager, who was a student in her classroom.
The relationship reportedly took place between January and February. Deputies said things progressed over time to kissing and Connors allowing the student to inappropriately touch her.
Investigators said Connors eventually had sex with the boy several times at the school during school hours. Deputies said Connors would take the boy from other classes, then take him to private rooms to have sex.
Deputies said Connors and the boy once left school grounds in her personal vehicle, then went to the boy's home, where they had sex in his bedroom.
Connors was arrested at her home in Brandon and booked into the Orient Road Jail without bond.
Deputies said there is no indication that any other students were involved, but the investigation is still ongoing.
