Get ready for thrilling rides, exhibits, good music and enough great food to make your mouth water.

The 113th Florida State Fair returns Feb. 9-20 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Officials say there are countless activities to discover and enjoy.

Visitors will get to chose from over 100 rides and games at the largest midway in America.

Music lovers won’t be left out of the festivities: Johnny Lee and Barbara Fairchild are among the artists slated to headline this year’s concerts.

There will even be some locals performing at this year's Florida State Fair.

Shalyah Fearing of Hudson, FL will perform on Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. on the Sleep Number Stage. She has been singing since she was five and performed on Season 10 of The Voice, placing in the Top 8 Semifinals.

Might Mongo is a five-piece rock band, full of happy people from St. Petesburg. Mongo plays a kind of party rock punk that gets the crowd involved. They will perform on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. on the Sleep Number Stage.

The popular Elvis Extravaganza will be back, as well as the ever-so popular Budweiser Clydesdales.

And it wouldn’t be a fair if food wasn’t mentioned. Officials have promised new twists on fair favorites, including burgers and pizza for adventurous foodies.

“As the first State Fair in the country, the Florida State Fair has introduced some of the most unique food creations,” said Charles C. Pesano, executive director of the Florida State Fair Authority. “Over the years, food has become an extremely important part of the fair experience, and our vendors work very hard to bring fairgoers the newest, most delicious foods. We’re always excited to taste the latest creations.”

With the enthusiasm for all manner of culinary concoctions at the Fair, the annual People's Choice Burger Awards have been expanded to include all categories of food.

Voters got choose from 23 options. The Cheesy Fried Enchilada Funnel Cake was crowned the Florida State Fair People's Choice Fare Favorite!

The Cheesy Fried Enchilada Funnel Cake features corn meal funnel cake batter mixed with enchilada spices, poured through a funnel and deep-fried. The savory cake is then topped with queso and ground chorizo.

The runner up in the People's Choice competition was the Florida Firecracker -- 10 ounces of fresh ground chuck mixed with special seasoning and stuffed with freshly made jalapeno poppers filled with creem cheese and extra sharp cheddar cheese. The meat is then wrapped in bacon and slow roasted in a smoker. It's served on an 8-inch hoagie roll layered with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a variety of special sauces.

Running neck and neck to round out the top five were the Nutella Oreo Funnel Cake, the White Cheddar and Bacon Pretzel dog (pictured below), and the Pizza Cone
