The passenger of a motorcycle is in critical condition after a crash Thursday night.

  • Driver of bike, Etim Nissan Etim-Inyang, 22, received minor injuries

The crash occurred around 10:40 p.m. Thursday at USF Holly Drive and USF Maple Drive. 

Troopers said the Yamaha motorcycle was traveling westbound on USF Holly Drive, when a Toyota Corolla turned left at the intersection of USF Maple Drive and into the path of the bike.

Both vehicles collided, causing both people on the bike to be ejected.

According to the report, driver of the bike, Etim Nissan Etim-Inyang, 22, received only minor injuries and was wearing a helmet. The passenger, a 21-year-old male, received serious injuries and was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Toyota, Tresa John, 18, was not injured in the crash.

According to the report, charges are pending.
