A hound mix missing for more than two weeks since breaking out of a crate at Tampa International Airport has been found.

Brady went missing Oct. 11 after breaking out of the create before a flight. A news release sent to media outlets Thursday didn't say where Brady was found.

The dog is being treated at the BluePearl Veterinary Partners hospital. Brady was in stable condition.

Pennell said Brady definitely would require medical care, though she was not sure of the extent yet. Brady had lost about 17 pounds. She also had quite a few bug bites.

Additional traps had been put out this week. At 7:45 a.m. they had Brady in a trap, on airport property.

Brady was being flown to Bermuda to be with her family, who recently moved there. She was being loaded onto the plane when she escaped.

After the escape, Christie Pennell said volunteers joined her and her family in putting up posters along Hillsborough Avenue and searching the area surrounding the airport.

Pennell credited online lost-and-found groups, which stepped up to aid in the search. That included "Lost and Found Pets of Hillsborough County," a community on Facebook with more than 40,000 members.

Pennell said Delta Air Lines and Tampa International Airport have been very helpful in the search, including paying for the flights back to Tampa and the hotel costs.
