Troopers are investigating a single vehicle crash on Interstate 95 Thursday night, where the passengers of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

The crash reportedly happened at 7 p.m. near mile marker 262 in Volusia County. The driver of a 2001 Ford pickup truck entered I-95 from US-92 and lost control of the vehicle, overturning and spilling tools, equipment and roofing supplies such as nails onto the road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, there were allegedly five men in the truck who fled on foot and have not yet been located.

No other vehicle was damaged. Charges are pending for the incident.
