Flagler County deputies arrested the man in the shooting death of his cousin Tuesday.

The incident happened at a residence on Parkview Drive.

Deputies say Clarence Murphy, 31, shot his cousin, 36-year-old Ahmad Laster, in an argument over selling an EBT card worth $100 in exchange for drugs.

The sheriff's office said Laster sold the card to Murphy, and when Murphy went to use the card, the money wasn't available. 

Deputies say Murphy with Laster, then punched him in the head, pulled out a gun and shot hime.

Murphy has not been booked into the jail yet, but deputies say he is charged with first-degree murder.
