Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday into Saturday morning, with a look at conditions through the weekend and into next week.
  • Front stalled
  • Increasing rain chance
  • Another front Tuesday

Skies will be partly cloudy overnight with lows in the 60s.

The front is dissipating, but increasing atmospheric moisture will bring rain chances back into the area. Saturday will feature partly cloudy skies and still mild conditions with highs in the low to mid 80s.

There will be enough moisture in the atmosphere to result in a 30 percent coverage of a few showers, mainly in the afternoon to evening. The showers will move slowly when they form, generally moving west.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with any isolated shower going away. Lows will be in the 60s to near 70.

Sunday will feature more atmospheric moisture, resulting in higher rain chances with a 50 percent coverage of scattered showers and storms.  The timing is mainly afternoon to evening.

Highs will remain in the low to mid 80s.

Monday will actually be the highest rain chance, as a front pushes moisture in the from the gulf. That will result in a 60 percent coverage of scattered showers and storms moving through the region. Highs will be in the low 80s.

Drier air will then start moving in after that along with slightly lower temperatures.

Expect a 20 percent chance of a passing shower Tuesday. Otherwise, we'll get partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s. It will be breezy with an onshore wind.

Wednesday and Thursday of next week will have partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
