Riley was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer three weeks ago.

Sunday, the community gave back to him and held a big fundraiser to raise money for the 37-year-old.

Dozens of volunteers and firefighters were out with the Plant City Fire Rescue supporting Riley.

They had barbecue, a car wash, and hats and shirts for sale--all in honor of firefighter Jimmy Riley.

About three weeks ago, Riley went home from a firefighting shift with a headache. Hours later he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer and was rushed into surgery that night.

Now, he's going through rounds of chemotherapy and working to beat the terrible disease. His team of brothers want Riley to know that they're with him in this fight.

The fundraiser will be going until 4 p.m. Sunday, and all the proceeds from the car wash will go straight to Riley and his family.
