Far from home but full of pride, the owner of the London Pride British store in Largo celebrated.

"I was surprised it was a boy,” said Carole Clephane from London. “I thought she was going to have another girl, actually.”

The newest royal baby is fifth in line for the throne behind his brother Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte.

"Have lots of company together the three of them together, you know it’s going to be good," said Susan Mackay from Wales.

The youngest prince was born weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

"It’s just such a strong tradition of coming out with new member for us,” said Clephane. “Someone we’ll follow through the rest of their lives, you know, it’s exciting it’s just a long line of tradition, yeah, it’s what we’re all about."

"Very patriotic, very patriotic," said Mackay.

It was a day full of tradition and prediction.

"From what I understand, Charlotte is very much in charge,” said Clephane. “I think she’s going to stay in charge, too.”

"When Prince George was born, I happened to be at Windsor Castle and we were in London during that time and we had the gun salutes, crowds outside Buckingham palace,” Clephane added. “Everybody’s so positive when something like this happens and it’s a real look to the future."
