The weak twister damaged a carport and a few homes at the Paradise Mobile Home Park.

"It was scary," said resident Charlene Ivey.

"It sounded like a big train," said another resident, Gilbert Martinez.

On Tuesday, an officer with Hillsborough County Code Enforcement visited the community to assess damage.

Meanwhile, residents spent the day cleaning up.

"It just happened quick," said resident Joe Rudow.

The tornado peeled back the roof of Rudow's mobile home.

Rudow said it's frustrating because he had recently repaired the roof.

"Money is tight," Rudow said. "I'm not working yet so it's hard. I'm doing the best I can."
