The area of low pressure that brought the rain will track eastward into the Atlantic overnight.

  • Lows in the 70s
  • Dry, mostly sunny on Monday

Clouds will be thinning out overnight as a weak cold front slips by following the low.  Lows will be slightly lower as the dew points drop, in the low 70s for Tampa to near 60 north.

The weak front never really sweeps all of the moisture out of way. Monday looks dry and mostly sunny, but there may be showers from Polk County to the east coast. Highs will still be in the upper 80s.  It will be less humid though, with mostly sunny skies

Tuesday will also be mostly sunny. It will be a little breezy with northeast to east winds. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

On Wednesday the high temperatures will be in the upper 80s to around 90. Skies will be partly cloudy. East winds may be just strong enough to prevent a sea breeze.

Thursday still looks dry with a light wind leading to a sea breeze. Highs will be around 90, with low 90s inland.

On Friday, the ridge of high pressure overhead continues to build allowing for more warming. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 90s. A sea breeze will cool the coastal areas in the late afternoon.
