Among the racks of delicate designs, beading, and lace at Truly Forever Bridal Salon in Tampa, there’s quite a buzz brewing over what Markle will be wearing this weekend.
"I absolutely love their love story and them being so original and so themselves, so down to earth," salon owner Lela Haas said.
It’s a historic ceremony that’s getting worldwide attention. Anna Coats is the editor of the popular web site “Marry Me Tampa Bay” and said the Royal Wedding is like her Super Bowl.
"Insiders say that her dress is going to be hand-stitched and heavily beaded, and the designer that she may have chosen is Ralph and Russo, which is a small British fashion house with a contemporary design to it, so we really expect something that's going to have a statement," Coats said.
Coats said Meghan Markle’s style is classic but contemporary. She’s anxious to see if she’ll take a modern or more traditional route.
"Here in the States every couple tries to make their wedding they're own, which I'm sure Harry and Meghan will do, but there's so much rich history involved with the royal wedding," Coats said.
Whichever style Meghan chooses, salon owners think designers will mimic the trend.
"Just like they did after Kate's wedding there was a lot of copying pretty much of that style," Haas said.
"We're expecting Meghan to do for beaded dresses, if she decides to go with that style, what Kate did for lace dresses. So this fall and next spring we'll probably see some inspiration from Meghan's dress on the runways," Coats said.
Whether you want to dress like a royal, or stick to your own style, most will agree the dress and their love will be talked about for years to come.
