4:45 p.m. update: William Ray Hood, 89, has been found and has been returned home safely, police said.

PINELLAS PARK, FLA. -- A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Pinellas Park man.

Police say William Ray Hood, 89, went missing from his home on 62nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park on Wednesday at about 12:34 p.m. 

Hood suffered from Alzheimer's and Sundown Syndrome. He is believed to be traveling in his 2011 silver Chrysler 200 with a Florida handicapped tag #ZH651, police said. The vehicle also has an artificial rose on the top of the vehicle antenna, and the front license plate on the vehicle says "National Horseshoe," according to the report. 

Hood is 6'02" and weighs 225 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a tan striped polo style shirt, with jean shorts, and black shoes.
