ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A few gusty showers will continue to be possible through Tuesday morning.

Plenty of moisture moves back in from the south on Tuesday, so there will be a better chance of scattered showers and storms Tuesday with highs in the mid-80s.

Skies will be mostly cloudy. Breezy south winds will continue, especially near the coast. It will be muggy.

Expect scattered storms Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s.  South winds continue keeping the humidity high. It will still be a little breezy, especially near the coast.

Rain chances will drop to about 50 percent for Thursday, with the storms most likely in the afternoon with the sea breeze.  High temperatures will get back to the upper 80s to about 90.

Friday will also have light enough winds for a sea breeze. Scattered storms will pop up in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to around 90.

Next weekend will be drier with a westerly wind and about a 30 percent coverage of scattered storms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.  Storms are likely to start earlier near the coast and move inland.
