BRADENTON, Fla. -- One person was killed and four people were injured during a shooting at a Manatee County bar overnight after an argument between two groups escalated.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to Tommy Knockers Bar around 12:30 a.m. in response to a shooting. 

Witnesses told deputies that the deceased victim, Gabriel Conde, was at the bar drinking with two other men when another group of males began a heated argument with them. They said the argument moved outside and the two groups began fighting. 

Deputies said at some point during the fight, one of the males in the second group pulled out a gun and began shooting. Five people were shot, one of them suffering fatal injuries. 

Witnesses said the shooter fled with two or three other males in a white 4-door vehicle, believed to be a Chevrolet Impala. 

The shooter is described as a bald Hispanic male, about 5'8" tall, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts. 

Deputies said the other victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Conde, who was to turn 40 on Tuesday, June 12, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead on scene.
