Residents is Zephyrhills are cleaning up after a microburst uprooted trees and caused minor damage to homes in the Pinecrest Mobile Home Park at about 4:00 p.m. Friday.

"Well, we had a bad storm," said Linda Cook who lives in the neighborhood. "It felt like the thunder was right above us. I looked out and there was trees coming down everywhere." 

Crews arrived quickly to remove downed trees from the road.

Frank Hernandez said his wife called him at work. She was concerned their house may have damage.

"She said it happened at the house right next to mine," Hernandez said. "We knew there were some branches leaning over our fence already from the same tree, and my concern was that one of them hit my house, but it was actually my neighbor's."

Audrianna Cook, 10, said a swingset got ripped up in her grandmother's backyard.

"I was like, "Oh no, my swing set is broken," she said.

Cable lines were down in the mobile home park and same homes had roof damage.

No injuries are being reported.
