PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the attack on a Pinellas County bus driver last week.

Tevin Montreal Sutton was arrested Saturday and has been charged with felony battery, an arrest affidavit says. He also has been charged with marijuana possession.

Last Tuesday afternoon, Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority driver David Traylor was punched several times in the face by a rider after deputies say Traylor asked a man to sit down so he could operate the bus.

The rider then punched Traylor several times, unprovoked, leaving lacerations, then ran off.

A security camera captured a picture of the rider.

Bond for the battery charge was set for Sutton at $2,500, according to the affidavit.
