OLDSMAR, Fla. -- A former cheerleading coach in Brandon has received several charges from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office after an investigation revealed he had inappropriate sexual activity with two teen girls.

Victor Valenty, 28, was a cheerleading coach for Storm All Stars Cheer and Dance in Brandon, where investigators say he met both victims.

He is accused of sending explicit images via SnapChat to both victims. He also picked them up in Hillsborough County and brought them back to his home in Pinellas County to engage in sexual activity, according to investigators.

The incidents occurred at different times at his home on Old Village Way in Oldsmar.

Investigators said Valenty engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with one victim when she was 15-years-old, from September 2016 to April 2017.

Valenty engaged in sexual activity with the second victim, who was 16-years-old at the time, from April 2016 to May 2017.

Valenty was originally arrested in Hillsborough County on June 21, and according to investigators, he admitted to communicating with the victim through SnapChat and the telephone before picking her up in Hillsborough County and taking her back to his residence in Pinellas County.

Pinellas detectives then issued an arrest warrant for Valenty on four counts of sexual battery charges. Authorities said Valenty will be transferred to the Pinellas County jail for his charges.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has charged Valenty with obscene communication, travel to meet after use of computer to lure child, use of 2 way communication device to facility felony, and obscene communication use of computer to seduce/solicit/lure child in Hillsborough County.

The case remains under investigation.
