NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- A 19-year-old woman was hit and killed in a head-on collision on Moon Lake Road in Pasco County Saturday afternoon.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated a Ford F150 was traveling southbound on Moon Lake Road, just north of Oconne Boulevard, when the driver failed to notice a GMC Sierra stopped at the intersection and attempted to swerve to the left, causing the vehicle to enter the northbound lanes. 

The Ford F150 ended up striking the left rear of the Sierra and collided head-on with a Hyundai Accent. 

The driver of the Hyundai, Jullian Hitt, 19, was killed in the crash. 

The 23-year-old female driver of the Ford and a 4-year-old passenger received minor injuries in the crash.

The two occupants of the Sierra, the 25-year-old female driver and a 1-year-old passenger, also recieved minor injuries. 

All victims were transported to Bayonet Point Medical Center. 

The crash remains under investigation and troopers said charges are pending.
