According to an arrest report, Michael Bilirakis was escorted off the property at MacDinton's Irish Pub by security after police said he caused a public disturbance while intoxicated. Officials said the younger Bilirakis began to argue with security about why he was being escorted out of the pub, and "appeared to have been ready to fight."

Police officers tried to help security and explain to Bilirakis why they had a right to escort him off the property, but according to the report, Bilirakis continued to yell loudly and curse at them.

Bilirakis was arrested after he refused "to listen to multiple orders to calm down and walk way" and then "loudly yelled f--you at police," the report stated. He was charged with disorderly intoxication.

Gus Bilirakis represents Florida's 12th Congressional District, which covers all of Pasco County and northern parts of Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. He is running for a seventh term in the Nov. 6 election.
