TAMPA, Fla. -- The man accused of deliberately mowing down a dad and his two sons on a New Tampa bike ride will face a formal charge of premeditated first-degree murder on Friday.

Mikese Morse's family said he should not have been released from the medical facility where he was being held.

Police said before Morse hit the family on their bikes, he posted videos on Instagram saying he wanted to kill someone. They say Morse also came to a police substation saying he may hurt someone. That behavior is what led to Morse staying at the facility.

Pedro Aguerreberry was killed in June. His two sons who were riding with him were also injured but are okay.

Pedro's wife has asked for privacy but thanks the community for their support.
