ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. -- Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives are currently searching for the person involved in a shooting in Zephyrhills. according to officials.
- It took place just before 8:30 Monday night
- A 66-year-old man has been shot and injured
- The suspect fled the scene
The shooting took place Monday evening off of Newal Dr in Zephyrhills when a 66-year-old man was shot and taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.
The man had got into an argument with the person before the shooting, deputies stated, adding that the two know each other.
The shooter fled the scene before police arrived. Pasco Sheriff's Office K9 Units and Air Unit are currently searching for the shooter in the area.
