A pedestrian was hit and killed Friday night on US 41 just north of State Road 70.
Troopers said the 78-year-old man was crossing US 41 and walked into the path of a GMC Sonoma.
The pedestrian was hit and transported to Blake Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
According to the report, charges are pending.
No other information has been released.
