WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk surprised the family of a former skating partner, who died of cancer, with a home renovation.

The home belonged to Hawk's longtime friend Kerry Overman.

Overman was married to Hawk's former skating partner Ray Underhill, who died in 2008 after battling with brain cancer.

Houzz Inc. stepped in to help Hawk renovate the family's kitchen, living room and a bathroom.

The full renovation can also be watched on a full episode of the show My Houzz.
