ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Wednesday into Thursday morning, along with a look at conditions through the weekend.

  • High rain chances
  • Some heavy rainfall
  • Becoming breezy on the coast

An onshore wind continues to keep humidity high across the area.

The evening showers will wind down and Thursday morning will begin with showers and a few thunderstorms along the coast.

Lows will be near 80.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through the day Thursday, with highs in the upper 80s

A cold front in the Southeast U.S. will enhance our SW to West wind flow, resulting in rain chances rising even higher. That pattern will last through the weekend.
