ORLANDO, Fla. -- It was an active Saturday across the area, with scattered strong storms and warm temps.

We’ll see quiet weather for the remainder of the overnight, with humid lows in the mid-70s.

Showers and storms are again likely for Sunday. We will again see partly sunny skies with showers and storms developing. Some storms could be on the strong side, especially in the afternoon. Highs for Sunday will be in the low 90s.

Next week still looks active across Central Florida. Tropical moisture and an upper-level disturbance will result in day-to-day rain and storm chances on Monday. Once again some storms could become strong. Highs for Monday will be in the low 90s.

The active weather will continue for much of next week, with more showers and storms likely.

Highs Tuesday-Thursday will be in the low 90s.

A more typical weather pattern will begin to develop for Friday and next weekend, with lower coverage of showers and storms. Temps will hold in the low 90s.

Tropical Update

All is quiet this weekend in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean and the open waters of the Atlantic. No major activity is expected over the next 5 days.
