LUTZ, Fla. -- Pasco County authorities have identified a suspect in Friday night's road rage shooting in Lutz.

A man was shot in the face just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Como Drive and Moss Branch Road. His wife, who was driving, also was injured. 

Both are expected to fully recover.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened when they couple encountered a vehicle at a four-way traffic stop that did not have lights on. 

The woman flashed her lights at the other vehicle to alert the driver his lights were not on. 

As both vehicles passed through the intersection, the suspect in the vehicle fired a shotgun blast at the victim's vehicle. 

The female suffered minor injury to her arm but the male received serious damage to his face from the blast. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

Deputies are not releasing the victim's names. 

Authorities said they believe the suspect is Luis Ramund Brito, 49, whose last known address was in Lutz. 

He is believed to be driving a 2006 white Chrysler 300. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet-7 and weighing 177 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts should call 911 immediately. 

He should be considered armed and dangerous.
