MIAMI, Fla. -- The game doesn't count in the standings but at this point in training camp, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' players are just ready to play somebody - anybody.

They'll get that opportunity Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida.

"I think we're all very excited," said Bucs' guard Ali Marpet. "We've been hitting each other for a while now and it's good to hit someone else for once. So we're all very excited for Miami, escpecially the young guys."

Speaking of the young guys, get ready to see a lot of them tonight. Veteran players like Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mike Evans and Gerald McCoy won't be on the field much.

"You never know exactly how many plays you're going to get," said Bucs' coach Dirk Koetter. "Typically, your first group plays about 15 plays, which should take you through at least one quarter."

Among the young players to keep an eye on: rookie defensive backs Carlton Davis and MJ Stewart and rookie running back Ronald Jones. All three have looked solid in training camp and will have a chance to contribute this season.

"I'm very excited to finally be out there," Jones said on the eve of his first pro game. "(I) get to play out there with all of my (rookie) classmates and some of the vets. (I'm) just ready to make an impact."

The Bucs will follow tonight's game with a week of practice at Tennessee followed by a game against the Titans Saturday, Aug. 18.

Two home pre-season games (Aug 24 vs. Detroit) and (Aug. 30 vs. Jacksonville) will follow before the season opener Sept. 9 at New Orleans.
