LARGO, Fla. -- Police investigators searching for a toddler who is the subject of an Amber Alert released a sketch Monday of a man wanted in connection to the boy's disappearance.

Jordan Belliveau who was last seen in the area of Lake Avenue and East Bay Drive in Largo on Saturday.

According to police, the child's mother said she and her son were walking from their home Saturday evening when she accepted a ride from a stranger. She claimed that the man, named Antwan, attacked her and beat her unconscious. When she woke up in Largo Central Park, Jordan was gone, she said.

The child's mother reported Jordan missing early Sunday morning.

For the past 24 hours, Largo Police have looked at surveillance footage and searched the woman's apartment and surrounding area but have found no clues, tips or answers into the disappearance of the 2-year-old.

At a news conference Monday afternoon, Largo Police Maj. Stephen Slaughter provided more details into the progress of the search and the condition of Jordan's mother.

"I think she's overwhelmed with what's going on," Slaughter said of Jordan's mother. "She's relatively young. It's probably a little bit more than she was ready to have happen."

He said the mother has a head wound that could indicate she lost consciousness, though it's unclear whether she was unconscious for four hours continuously.

Police said Jordan's father has been cooperating with investigators and provided a verifiable alibi as to where he was when Jordan disappeared.

Investigators have been combing the mother's apartment, diving in the pond behind Jordan and his mom's home and digging through a trash compactor.

"We're collecting anything and everything that may be of value in our case. We have found some bloody items. ... We don't know (if they belonged to Jordan). We don't even know how long they've been there," Largo Police Maj. Stephen Slaughter said.

Investigators are also asking some residents for private security footage that could shed light on what happened.

"What we're asking is for residents who may have their own security system... to take some time and go look at their video and let us know if they happen to see anything," Slaughter said.

Police particularly are interested in any private security footage along the East Bay Drive corridor between Belcher Road and Missouri Avenue that may have captured Jordan, his mother, Antwan or a white Toyota Camry between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

"Questions keep getting asked. People (are) talking. The neighbors are always outside. People are worried, so tensions are high around here, and people are just worried about the kid and where he's at," said Gus Valencia, a neighbor.

Crews are currently focusing their search efforts in the area of Lake and East Bay Drive, the last location the mother reported seeing Jordan. The search for Jordan may expand to a shoulder-to-shoulder walk through the area as early as Tuesday, police said.

"If anybody knows anything, heard anything, knows somebody that knows something, let Largo PD know and bring my grand baby home," said Jessica Belliveau, the boy's grandmother.

Police said Antwan is thought to be about 26 years old with dreadlocks and gold teeth. He was seen wearing black basketball shorts and a white tank top.

Antwan was thought to be driving a 2010 white Toyota Camry with a white grill and dark tinted windows. Police said the car may have a rosary hanging from the rear view mirror and a Black Ice air freshener.

"I just moved here to Largo a few months ago. And I have a 7-month-old daughter, and you know, it's a scary feeling knowing somebody went missing not even 15 to 20 feet from my own apartment," Valencia said.

"We're keeping a positive attitude, because we are going to find Jordan. That is our goal. That is what we're here to do. But I would say that we need some help," Slaughter said.

If you have any information on the location of Jordan, contact the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730 or 911 immediately.
