ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Amway Center's going to be especially icy this weekend. Oh, and it may have more pixie dust than usual.

  • 'Mickey's Search Party' at Amway Center for 6 shows
  • Skater who portrays 'Elsa' shares her routine
  • Ticket prices start at $18

Disney on Ice's newest production -- Mickey's Search Party -- is in town for 6 shows.

Feld Entertainment tells Spectrum News that this production involves more audience participation than ever as they help search for clues to find Tinker Bell after Captain Hook tries to capture her magic.

So we wanted to reveal some of that magic by meeting the professional skater who portrays Elsa.

Angie Lien began skating at the age of 3 and has competed at the U.S. National Championships five times at the senior level.

"All of us have gone through a lot of similar training growing up skating, and having lots of years behind us to be able to portray these roles and to be able to be in professional shows like this," she told us. "On the other side, it has been really fun to portray the princess roles, and Elsa is so much fun because she's so strong, yet she's very regal."

Lien says the toughest challenge, though, is overcoming injury. So she demoed a few of the stretches, planks, and tools she uses to massage her muscles.

Routines change depending on whether she's just getting off the ice or if she's just starting to warm up.

"We have to do things on and off the ice to be able to be strong in these characters and to maintain our tour schedule," she said.

One ritual may have nothing to do with her muscles, but it's something "Elsa" does before ever taking the ice.

"I always tie my left skate before my right skate, no matter what," she said. "I don't know where it came from."

That brought on a big smile.

"I feel like I found a dream job."
