Tampa, Fla. -- Florida Master Money Mentor Training

University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences has created the Florida Master Money Mentor Volunteer training. This training will provide comprehensive information about basic personal finance and teach you how to share that knowledge with others.

Florida Master Money Mentors provide mentoring and education to Hillsborough County residents on topics such as cash flow management, credit, and achieving goals. Some mentors also choose to serve as tax preparation volunteers.​

No previous financial education or background in financial services is required to be a Florida Master Money Mentor.

Dates:

September 20 & 27 and October 4 & 11 from 9:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Participants must attend all four classes and complete at-home study.

Location:

County Extension office, 5339 County Road 579 in Seffner.

Cost:

$18.00 covers all 4 classes.
