TAMPA, Fla. — A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi and a box truck seriously impacted Interstate 75 traffic Tuesday morning. 

A box truck involved in the crash had part of a wall peeled back in the crash on southbound I-75 just before Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Tampa before 6 a.m. 

Debris from the truck spilled across the roadway. 

Another semi also was involved in the crash, ended up on the right shoulder of the roadway. And at least two vehicles also were involved in the crash. 

The mess backed up traffic from near the I-75 and I-275 apex, deep back into Pasco County. 

Tampa police, along with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash. Traffic was limited to one lane for several hours.

Authorities have not released details of the crash or if there were any injuries.
